Trying to prevent the POP on startup in my car... I drive a 2005 Mustang GT and was told that I can use a Resistor or a Regulator... which is best and what is the exact part I need (have a soldering iron) to make the D3 work with my Shaker 500 system.

almost sure its a 1k resistor that u need. just put it inline on the remote wire.

2.2k to 3k gets rid of the pop

ive used a 1k resistor and it takes care of the "pop"
