I just bought the AVIC d3 and I can't find the VVS and Reverse wire. I have been reading the forums, but nothing on my truck. A little help please.

Buy the metra gmos01 adapter (gmos04 if u have Bose). They have VSS and reverse on the adaptor. you'll just need to run a parking light wire for dimmer. it's a brown wire on the back of the connector you reveal by pulling the end cap off the passenger end of the dash. good luck

Ick. I cant stress enough how much better the PAC OS-2 (Bose) or Peripheral (GMAH-24 ( is than the metra (there the same thing different name). I have lots of experience with both (Metra and PAC/Periph) and i am 100% satisfied with PAC/Periheral. These harnesses do not have VSS or reverse in them but these wires can be easily found.
