AVIC411 be attending CES this year (technically 2011) to cover all the latest and greatest automotive electronics from Pioneer as well as other manufacturers announcements! It will be 4 days of cutting edge technology goodness and it will all be posted right here.
Pioneer has a press conference on January 5th which I'll be covering, as well as other events throughout CES until January 9th.
Stay tuned!
I meant to post this on October 15th, but got caught up in all the recent upgrades, so it's a slightly belated birthday.
Anyway... AVIC411 is 5 years old! Happy Birthday to us!
AVIC411 was created on October 15th 2005 and started with just a few posts made by myself.
It's now 5 years (and a few days) later and we have grown to over 219,000 posts, and have over 45,000 members.
AVIC411 has gone through 3 major software changes (phpbb2, phpbb3, Invision Power Board) and has needed to move to a more powerful server 4 times. (We're now on a VDS with a quad core 2.33ghz Intel Xeon)
Sooooo, lets do some math:
5 years * 365 days = 1825 days.
219,210 posts / 1825 days = ~120 posts per day!
45,773 members / 1825 says = ~25 new members per day!
Thanks to everyone who has helped AVIC411 become what it is today.
It seems the user manual for the unreleased and unannounced AVIC-Z120BT has surfaced on Pioneer’s Site! It appears to be the same hardware as the Z110BT, but comes with the new software that was demoed at CES!
I’m a few days late with this announcement, but as of June 28th, Pioneer has updated the AVIC Feeds iPhone app to be compatible with iOS4! However, we’re all still anxiously waiting for PandoraLink to support multitasking.

The 2010 Road Show has sadly come to an end, and AVIC411 was there with a exclusive first look at the new Z120BT. Here’s a summary of what we know: 1. The Z120BT is basically a Z110BT with new, radically improved software. 2. The Z110 will get a software upgrade at some point in time to turn it into a Z120.
