  1. Only averages 100 visitors online 24/7, clearly dead. /sarcasm
  2. I can't remove it since it is helpful for older units, and I'm not in the business of censoring posts, however I have added a warning as requested.
  3. Fixed the links here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35-step-by-step-guide-to-making-custom-backgrounds/?p=118 Some sort of link weirdness from the multiple forum updates I suspect, as the files were still there.
  4. Not sure what happened to PIMViewer, I'll take a look, but PIMMGR is here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/29-custom-pim-image-application/?p=105
  5. FTP is out of the question, however you can upload files to forum posts.
  6. Some of the purchased map updates require a password retrieved from Pioneer's site: https://www.pioneernavigationupdate.com/navigationupdate/
  7. If you want it to work properly, you'll need the real deal: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD823ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter
  8. If you're reading this, you're on the new Google Compute Engine powered site! If you see any issues with the site, please reply to this topic. Thanks, Jason
  9. Most of my contacts have left Pioneer, as such, we haven't been invited to CES since 2011. However, I did create a forum here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/forum/63-nex/
  10. Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. continues to enhance the in-vehicle smartphone experience by announcing that 16 more Android-based smartphones are compatible with AppRadio Mode in-dash receivers, including highly popular models from Samsung, HTC, Motorola and Sony. Compatibility with current and newly added Android smartphone devices enables the use and enjoyment of dozens of today’s most popular apps directly from the screen of AppRadio Mode products, including AppRadio 3 (SPH-DA210 and SPH-DA110) and AppRadio 2 smartphone receivers, AVH-X8500BHS DVD receiver, and AVIC-X950BH and AVIC-Z150B
  11. I don't remember the procedure but I'm sure it's around here somewhere. There's a way to "erase" the flash memory in the service menu and then reload from the disc.
  12. Probably need a powered/diversity antenna adapter.
  13. Very unlikely; totally different hardware, but who knows.
  14. Select the TTS voice in the settings.
