Yeah the light green/teal wire is the parking brake.
That blue wire in the AV harness shouldn't even be there.
-
I would assume it's the same as the Z110-130,
If not, a few days. lol
-
VSS takes over when there is no or poor signal, so yes.
-
Is VSS connected?
-
The full manual is on Pioneers website and is publically available to anyone.
I believe it's a hardware limitation.
DVD is hardware decoded and iPod/Aux are already video signals, the AVIC just has to pass them through.

Nav volume and attenuation are in the settings.
-
There's obviously an issue with the antenna, where it's mounted, or both.
-
Weird, I've never heard of it doing that. Some people would call that a feature!

lol im talking quality and viewing angle, not discreetness lol
I know, just couldn't resist.

Best? The VW logo that flips in to reveal a hidden camera.

Did this just start happening? If you just installed it, double check the ignition and constant power wiring.

If you want to do canbus, I would use this http://pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=280&CategoryID=26

Neither one of the dimmer wires supply 12v when the lights are on? If not, any circuit that gets power when the lights are on will work.
Every modern car has a speed pulse, it's just that some are easier to get to than others, sometimes you have to go all the way to the ECU. The Mustang speed pulse is at the ECU for example.
Speed pulse isn't needed if you always have good gps signal, don't drive in tunnels, etc.

Thanks for the reply. So you're saying that I should keep my Z120BT and just get the map/software upgrade, instead of just replacing the whole system with the newer model when it comes out?
Yes.

I would hold off until the software update. You'll get Navteq maps and same features as the Z140.
-
Yes, you'll need the AV Harness.
-
The Z1 has its own sub out. Rear Monitor out is for video.
-
Check the antenna under connection status.
-
In general, yes.
-
If you don't have a motorized/powered antenna or amp then you don't need to connect them.
The orange dimmer wire is most likely the illumination wire on the D3 side.
-
1. No, not possible, other than holding seek.
2. Not sure.

Those tuners don't work with the AVIC. You'll need a Pioneer IPBus Tuner.
Will the new X940BT Software (supports Android more) be port-able to X930BT?

I'm not sure what you're asking. There will be an update, and it will include the new navteq maps as well as the enhanced app mode.
