Sometimes the tuners get a little confused, try disconnecting the power to it for a little bit. If that doesn't work, checking the antenna would be the next step.
-
What cable are you using to connect the iPod to the AVIC?
-
1. You don't have to delete it, it will look for phones in the order of most recently paired.
2. Not sure, don't use the HD.
3. Attenuation is an option in the settings.
4. You're correct, the only split mode is for rear view.
-
It's not a "fault" of the avic, it depends on the CD. It will get info from MP3/Data CD's. If it's a plain audio CD, it's only going to work if CD Text is written to the disc.
Also, make sure AV1 is set to iPod.
-
Could always tap into the reverse lights.
-
Is AV1 set to iPod?
-
Nope, not normal. During a call the screen should remain on the current mode with a call box with hang up, volume, and close. The screen should not be going blank.
-
From what I've been told, there will be an update available for the Z110+ and the X910+.
-
Make sure none of the contacts have special characters or emoticons in the names. Ex: & $
Also, under the Bluetooth pairing options on the iPhone, make sure all contacts is selected.
-
This is why everyone is so excited about the upcoming switch to navteq maps.
-
The reverse lead is connected incorectly then. The only time that message is displayed is when the AVIC gets 12v on the reverse lead.
You can disable the camera in the settings as a temp workaround. You can also look at connection status to see the reverse status.

1. Check and make sure AV1 is set to iPod.
2. Try repairing the phone.
-
That's displayed when the backup camera is active.
-
I've heard of people soldering the RCA's to fix this.
-
Make sure it's paired to the AVIC as Handsfree & Audio, not just handsfree.
-
Yes, you need the av harness to do the bypass.

I use a 8GB Lexar in mine; no issues.

hi, i have factory sat nav Rns-e which i hate, so i was thinking of upgrading to the f30bt, i have a few questions.
i want it to be as factory as poss, is there anything that might not look factory?
can i hide the antenna? or use the audi one?
it says it can be used with the vw canbus parking sensors and heated seats, i have these in my audi will it work?
is it a good unit, should i be looking at something else?
can you get a decent tv tuner
on my screen at the min on startup it says RS4 can this be done also?
thanks
You can usually use the factory antennas, I did on my VW (after removing the proprietary connection).
When you say parking sensors, do you mean a backup camera?
The radio isn't going to effect heated seats...
TV tuners don't work very well in a moving vehicle.
Yes, you can make the startup screen any .jpg you want.
how do you upgrade the maps? ie new roads etc?
SD Card
oh and will it work with the factory bose amp and speakers?
Should, with the correct adaptor.
-
The whole point of the bypass is to make all the features available all the time.
If you don't do the bypass and connect the parking break, you can't really do much unless the parking brake is set.
-
1. It depends on what's playing. If you have an album selected, you'll get the arrows. Same if shuffle is on.
2. I know it sounds stupid but 9/10 times it's the phone being on silent or the volume is turned way down (on the phone, not the AVIC)
3. Not sure about that one, I don't have steering wheel buttons.
-
You can put the AVIC in iPod control mode and still play videos.
-
If you can't get into the menu, pull the parking brake.
-
Fixed the old links.
-
Steering wheel controls can almost always be used with the appropriate adaptor. The PAC SWI-PS is the most commonly used, but there are others.
The USB in the center console probably has a proprietary connection behind it but you could always replace it with a regular USB jack or just knock it out and run the Pioneer cable through the hole if you're just using it for an ipod/iphone like here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/gallery/image/126-repurposed-the-factory-ipod-area/
I haven't taken apart a Honda before but I'm sure those buttons could be saved, it just depends on how much work you want to do.

Android support doesn't come until the Z140 update.
