When I select the ipod function from the main menu, the screen goes blank and requires me to use the actual ipod to select songs. Before the bypass, I was able to use the avic to scroll through my playlists, artists, etc.

After I bypassed my Avic D3 for DVD's while driving, I am not able to use the Avic screen to select songs from my Ipod. Is this normal?
