Thanks TNC. It appears as though the thread refers to using an adaptor. I'm hoping to go direct from AVIC to VSS (assuming its analgue). Is this possible? How can I tell which is pin # 3. Unit is great except for signal in my area (lots of trees, buildings etc) want VSS to help with positioning

Hi All, I've read almost every post/forum I can find and have seen mixed feedback on the VSS for volkswagens 2006 Jetta TDi: Need: VSS Wire Colour, Location, Analogue or Digital and Need? ~ Pioneer AVIC D3 What colour is wire (blue/white, white/blue, purple white)? Is cluster best place for connection? Accuracy results without? Thanks
