  1. hey guys hows it going? i read the other posts about this issue and i am still having problems. I just bought my ipod today and it had version 1.1 already installed. How can i get this back to 1.0.2? i followed the instructions at http://spr33.co.uk/wp/archives/downgrad ... re-102-101 and i still cant get it. It never asks me to if i want to use an older version. it always asks if i want to restore it to the current version, which is 1.1. anybody have any ideas?
  2. yeah for sure. Its weird because the preview channel plays perfectly, the other signal just doesnt want to come through
  3. i have a d-3 with pnr2 module and i am having an issue. The module and antennae are installed and I have activated it. But, it still will only show channel 184 (preview channel). I have had the activation signal sent a few times and no luck. Any ideas on what I should do next? The guys that installed it say that its not their deal because I am receiving that preview channel and just to have Sirius resend the signal, but seeing that I have done that I am looking for a different solution. Please let me know if anybody has any insight into this. Thanks a ton!
  4. sounds great, i will try that tommorow. i guess it just needs a little of a lip to catch right? i honestly dont remember how it should look, but thanks for your help!
  5. I have sucessfully made the bypass but i am having a little problem. When i pulled the mute wire out of its original spot i think i may have flattened the little piece that sticks out and allows it to clip into the harness. Now it will fall out every once in a while and i would to stop with the whole dash take of thing. Is there a way i can reapir this piece, or should i try to find a new one or what? any help you can give me would be amazing!
  6. i figured it out finally! it was the harness and inside the little module there is a audio level control screw and with a little adjustment everything is perfect! thanks for all the help!
  7. but if i bypass the factory amp wont i lose the factory sub? i want to try to keep everything as stock as possible. I just realized i hooked up both sets of rca's where i was only supposed to hook up one (front stereo outs to rear harness ins. I think i hooked up the fronts to fronts and rears to rears. would that make a difference?
  8. i do have the boston system, and i used this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-FiVytv3JAI ... =120CHTO01 i wanted to retain the use of the factory amp and that was the way to go. Do you think its a faulty interface or did i get the wrong one or what? any advice for me?
  9. I have an Avic-D3 installed in a 2007 Jeep Commander and im loving it. All of the functions work great except i have one little problem. The audio from all functions (radio/ipod/dvd/etc.) fades in and out. This isnt a huge fade at all but its noticeable and is driving me crazy. Could this be an installation problem or a hardware problem or what? I would love to get this taken care of so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  10. I just installed my d3 and im loving it but i have one problem. The volume of the i-pod (wired in via cd-I200) fades in and out. Its not a huge fade but its noticeable all the same and i really would like to get it worked out. Any ideas?
