I PM'd deeredude5510 I will post my comment after I hear the magic words; after I spent an hour talking to a pioneer tech who said NO!

I called Pioneer and they said it doesn't do ("breadcrumbs" it's in your route options) Enlighten me after reading the manual twice a-hole = ) I love people who say this unit is the stuff! I have spent at least a couple of grand in car sterios over the last few years and in no way did I feal like I skimped to buy something of lesser money only to find out it's not that great; even compared to a $1800 Kenwood setup that I just returned that was a Garmin and it had a memory card that I could upload custom routes to and it would take me there. (BTW the unit was DOA Flip Motor Mechanism) (

Which is why I having to rig it with waypoints and areas to avoid...(It may be a good excuse to have a suction cupped NAV since they screwed the unit over with only one slot anyways) LOL Thanks to all... I'll rig it! Maybe in a future upgrade- who knows

Well it looks like the D3 is not the greatest... It will not leave a bread crumb trail or allow you to select roads to get to your destination... I'm going to have to try and trick it with way points or areas to avoid... great...

So almost every nav unit will do this except for this unit? I want to make sure you guys understand what I'm asking... I have the name of the roads needed and I want to enter them in so I can get directions to it every time as a fav?

I would like to do a custom back road map by doing a start and stop or something like that? 1) Can I enter all of the backroads I want to take to get to my dest.? 2) Can I make a start point and head towards my dest and then create an end point when I arrive and keep that custom nav mapping.? (Like a record option) Basically I need to create a custom backroad mapping or do a recorded trip so I can travel it again. (All I hear is common roads, quickest route etc... I need to do a custom path)

I need to be able to do a start and stop or a record. Example. I have an hour and a half drive with over 20 something turns. Can I do a start and stop at the end of the trip and keep it stored as a fav and pop the disk in when needed? Thanks in advance and any help would be appreciated!
