Does a good double-din headunit (non-navi) at a price lower than the D3 exist?

I was set on getting a D3 in the not so distant future, but after reading about how horrid the navigation part of it is, I've removed that from my list. Are there any other double-din units (non-navi included) that are priced well (best bang for the buck) and provide good sound + audio features (e.g. RDS)? Not really wanting a carputer.
