  1. (no replies to my previous post, but I am hoping someone can at least tell me what their experience is) When my iPhone 6+ is linked to my NEX-8000 by Bluetooth, incoming calls only show the number, not the name. Not an issue with last name only -- these contacts have full first and last name. The phonebook is transferred properly from the phone and shows up on the NEX, it just doesn't look up the name for incoming calls. Do I have something set wrong? My reading of the manual says it should look up the numbers in the phonebook and show the names. Thanks - Barry
  2. Anyone have any experience with this?

  4. I use an iPhone, but did not have it plugged in (it was connected by Bluetooth though). And no CarPlay w/o a cable connection. I believe I was listening to music from an SD card. I didn't try the back skip button (tried almost every other button and setting). Have not driven the car much in the last couple of days, but it has not yet happened again. - Barry
  5. My NEX-8000 installation has been working perfectly for weeks - until today. I have it set to announce when I go too far over the speed limit. It quiets the audio (not full mute) says its thing, and then restores the audio level. Today it told me I was going too fast, but the audio stayed at the quiet level, and I could not get it to come back. The + and - volume button were not functional, nor could I do anything by hitting the Mute spot to the left of the volume slider. I tried changing the Mute level in Audio setting (it was set to ATT), and everything else I could think of. This stat
  6. Is there an option to have the time displayed in a way that does not interfere with other functions? I removed my dashboard clock to add a boost gauge, and I miss it. Thanks
  7. Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the Z2 that shows the gyro mounting so I can see if it can be turned? Or maybe a diagram from the service manual?
  8. There is a setting in the manual that allows up to 10 degrees to either side, but no more than that. That is why I think I need to look at turning the gyro mechanically inside the box.
  9. I am looking at putting a Z2 in my 1995 Toyota Supra, but dash the curves around the driver, so the radio is not pointed straight ahead in the car...it is about 30 degrees off. This greatly exceeds the 10 degrees Pioneer says is OK, and the tech rep on the phone had no other suggestions. Is there any hope of this working? I was thinking that maybe the gyro mounting can be rotated internally? Wish I could look inside one, or see a photo to see if this is possible. Thanks - Barry
