  1. I've got an issue I've run into recently. I've got an iPhone 5, jailbroken on 7.0.4 with the latest version of AppRadio app (2.6.1 maybe?) and the most recent firmware for my AppRadio 2.

Ever since updating to 7.0.4 I've begun dropping calls and service when leaving my car. Specifically as follows: iPhone connected via lighting/hdmi to head unit. Bluetooth phone call (doesn't matter whether I call someone or someone calls me) in progress. I arrive wherever I'm going, unplug my iPhone and open my door (which kills power to the head unit). Within seconds my phone drops the call, and proceeds to drop my cell service for a minute or two (1 or two bars, then searching, then no service). I've tried switching the call to private before turning off the AppRadio, I've tried speakerphone, I've tried not touching anything and letting it switch on its own, but it still happens.

    Anyone else having this problem?

  2. Thanks - will check later. I bought my unit in May 2013 and a great guy at Halfords installed it and he mentioned about updating the unit before he installed it, so hopefully it has latest.

Also i downloaded waze last night but when I select waze from the app radio itself i also just get the blue screen. Waze just loads into the iPod. I had used waze on an older iPhone but that was when I first got the unit installed so was prob in an older version.

Ah well, so I have 2 satnav apps that don't work with the app radio *sigh*

I believe I had this same issue when I first downloaded waze for my iphone. There was a setting in waze that I had to enable video out/second screen/exterior control something like that. It was defaulted to off I guess.

  3. I have not issues with my iphone :) just in this case power of charge = power of discharge (not everytime, but sometimes it is). For android there is an app called "screen standby", which turning off the display of android phone and I think it's good for the screen.

I believe I remember reading somewhere on here that if you are using the USB from the back of the head unit, the amperage is too low to actually charge your phone, merely maintain where it's at. I personally use a separate car charger into my lightning av adapter and it charges just great.

That being said, what are you using?

  4. Navigation lists no longer scroll on my AppRadio 3 touchscreen!

You can no longer touch, scroll, or drag the following:

    1) "Recents" list on the main "Navigate" screen,

    2) "Favorites" list, and

    3) "Search results" list after I pick a Category. All other touch functions work

This had occured in a previous update which was fixed. Doh!

I've got an AR2 and am experiencing these same scrolling issues, but only on search results for me. I've been able to scroll on favorites. This is with an iPhone 5 fwiw.

  5. Hey all, new to the family! Just got my appradio 2 yesterday, it's hooked up and almost installed (need to bust out the dremel to cut out a back support to make it fit).

Title pretty much sums up the question. I recently purchased an appradio 2 off of craigslist and they didn't have the usb cable for it. This wouldn't be a big deal except it's not updated to the newest firmware! And with the CD-IH202 package, you're basically paying 50 bucks for this one cable (hdmi cables are so cheap now). So does anyone know of a place to get one of these other than straight from Pioneer or the CD-IH202?
