They've agreed to pay for the repairs, but I was hoping to avoid the dreaded unit removal and send off to pioneer.

My car was in the shop for 10 days and when I got it back today (exterior work, body work as well as paint), I hit the eject button and nothing happens. I pull up the tilt options and when I press tilt + nothing happens either. I typically have my unit set to automatically tilt when it’s turned on, and it’s not tilting on startup either. I've done a hard reset clearing all the memory, push button reset with a paperclip, switched the fuse, you name it. After an unsuccessful conversation with pioneer today I'm hoping I can find some help here. Thanks - Jeremy My problems are quite similar

My z1 is stuck on the pioneer loading screen. I can still open and change out cds and adjust the volume like you can when you first turn the car on, but the screen never goes away and allows you to use any of the other buttons. I am sure this has been answered before, but i am having trouble finding the solution. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance - Jeremy

My Avic Z1 was a display model ( payed a great price ) it was at a very high end electronics store. When i got the unit they did not have the nav discs for it (Hints the good price). Anyhow, when i am driving in the city of Houston, TX I notice that my map constantly change when im going to work and when im coming home. OMG, do i have to have a unit after june or the bluetooth update for the 2 wire bypass to work????

I know that there is already a sticky on this, but i can't find the information i need in that thread. I just got a z-1 it is a great unit, and everything works perfectly, except the 2nd wire in the bypass. The radio was installed for me, and the installer grounded both the parking break wire, and he inserted the 2nd wire in the harness and grounded it. Everything seems to work fine. When i drive everything works great, i can watch movies while moving. All of the sudden, the message pops up. I know it is a problem with the second wire, because i can still watch while im not moving, but wh
