thanks guys does the d3 increase volume with speed like the stock chevy stereo's do?

does the d3 need the vss and reverse wires hooked up? what does this do? any installers out there have access to which wires I need to tap into for these connections? vehicle is an 03 chevy crew, duramax thanks
