Hey, I need some help. I have been downloading music videos, and converting them to .avi . However some works some doesn't. What gives, does anyone know why? I am using the divx converter now and will try to burn another one on a dvd+R and see if it works or not. I will also try on a regular cd and see if it will work. Thanks for the future help. Josh

The alcohol 120 software would not write at more than 2.5 It come up with illegal write speed. However it did say it wa trying to write at 8. The software is really good, and the log file works well. I sent it to there tech support and they told me I had mad media the first time I tried.

I got it to work. It was the HP media I had bought. I carried it back and the only other brand they had was memorex dvd+r DL. I told the store if they didn't work I would bring them back as well due to the fact I know Memorex has known tohave bad media. It worked the first time I tried to burn using Alcohol 120. Thanks for all the help and the software worked great.

tell me step by step how you did, and which file you used.

i have tried everything, and still nothing works. I am a pro at burning movies, ripping videos and much more. I don't see why this is so hard. I did get one disc to work, it is the west but it had no points of intrest or address search..... I bought a 3 pack and will have to get more before I try again.

What does it take to burn a backup of the navigation disc. I have all types of copyright software and a dual layer burner. Do you burn it as a data disc?

It is much easier getting to the ecu, the dash comes out easy and the ecu is right there. I would not attempt anything else. Plus I know that the purple and white wire going into the 2nd plug from the bottom is the wire I need. Keep it simple.

I have a toyota tacoma access cab trd sport. I just installed a pro comp 6" lift with 35" tires. And now I installed the D3. The installation was not bad at all. For anyone needing to know, the SPEED sensor wire comes out of the 2nd plug from the bottom of the ECU. It is a purple and white wire. I will get some pictures up soon. Josh

So DVD+R's work fine and the menu still works? I need to know so I can return the stand alone back to crutchfield. They told me it would not work with dvd+r's. Which we have 250 dvd+r movies. I am calling crutchfield as we speak.

more like a computer type screen saver. Maybe someone can figure that one out.

Has anyone installed a screen saver to play while they played there MP3 files, or listened to the radio?

Does it work? I read all the info in the book and on crutchfield, but would like to know do they play on the D3. I already bought a stand alone that will go in my glove box if it won't. But I would like to skip this if not needed.

I have purchased the d3 but it will not be here for another couple days. I know it will use DIVX but will it also work with .AVI files? I seen a post that someone saved a .avi file as a data cd and it worked.
