Do you have a link for the firmware updates? I noticed that 3 and 4 are for European radios only. Can I use this on my American radio? Will this cause problems?

Hello, I have a Pioneer AVIC F700BT. I've had it since 2008, so it's getting pretty old. I have 2.0008 installed on it. Certain functions on the radio have stopped working. I don't know if this is because the radio is getting old, or maybe it needs to be updated. I can longer watch videos. This includes videos from a thumb drive, iPod, or SD card. Also, the voice commands feature no longer works. If I try holding down the volume button for voice commands, the system freezes up and restarts. If I try just muting the radio, it freezes. Is there anyway I can fix this? Thanks

Hello, I've had my pioneer head unit since 2008. I currently have 2.0008 installed on my system. For awhile now it has been lagging and certain features have stopped working. I figured since my radio was so old it wouldn't have anymore updates, but I recently found 3.0 and 4.0 online. I noticed that these are for European radios. So my question is this: since these updates are for European radios, can they be used on an American system? If so, where can I go to update my radio? Would you recommend 3.0 or 4.0? What are the differences? Finally, will this update my maps? Thanks
