I don't have my manual handy, and I'm wondering if anyone know off hand... I have my N3 set to show me multiple routes when I put in a destination. Generally there are 4-6 different routes. Does each one, or each colour represent a different method for calculating the route? Like the first (red) one is just the fastest way with no special consideration (assuming that you haven't specified anything to avoid) and the Second route is what you would get with the "avoid tolls" checked, and the third is with avoid freeway...and etc? I just think that would be useful to know if it's

Despite being a computer and home theater geek, I know almost nothing about car audio...so forgive the dumb question, but what exactly is involved in installing this, and what functionality can I hope to gain? I have a '08 Scion tC with the factory speaker system and the N3 installed. I got mine installed on Staten Island and I don't have any complaints. I got the N3, Ipod adaptor, Sirius and backup-cam installed. They hooked up the Lights and VSS without having to be told to. I don't know if that's too far outside of your area, but if you want the info, let me know. Oh, this was all on an '08 Scion tC.

I mean I cut and paste the part number into google, hit enter, and the FIRST RESULT had the answer. So while bored at work I decided to start looking into car HUD's (heads up displays) for my '08 tC. I came across one or two that aren't too bad. My question is does anyone know if hooking it up would be an issue since the N3 is already hooked up to the speed sensor? That might be a really dumb question, but I don't know if the wire is tapped...or spliced...or what. Also does anyone know of HUD's that don't look incredibly "aftermarketish"?

Riiiight...but again, what would make you think that they would? I mean I don't know a whole lot about car audio (I'm an inside nerd) but it's not like the volume and mute are controlling the amp...they're controlling the head unit. And now they're not hooked up to your head unit. That is unless you have a really long cable from your car to the garage where you left the factory unit.... (If I'm way off base here, someone let me know. I love to learn)
