Thanks for the help guys.. Looks like there was a bad ground or connection to the VSS wire. Tested and works now.

I'll definitely check it out tommorow and will let you know.

I used a tap in connector in to that wire right before the plug to the ECU. I took the tap off.. wire is still intact and I reset the CEL and no problems. Seems that everytime I tap it, it causes it to happen. I will take pics tommorow. I also had a ODB scanner on when it happens and it shows no reading to VEH speed when the D3 is connected to that wire.

When I tapped the purple-white VSS wire in my 05 corolla after 25 mph driving a check engine light triggers VEH Speed Sensor Malfunction.. Anyone have any clue why?
