  1. Has anybody checked if it actually still charges the phone? Maybe it's just a software message glitch... it might still actually charge the iPhone 3G (at least that's what I'm hoping). Does the D3 (with iPod kit) charge with Firewire? If so, were hosed - that is what Apple disabled.
  2. Thank you for your reply and detailed explanation. I know there's other bluetooth devices that could benefit from the iPhone having PUSH PROFILE capabilities. Keeping figures crossed. Thanks to all who contribute... making this great site... for filing in all the "gaps".
  3. I finally got it! Wow, that is the most stupid way to program something. Oh, well - I guess all parts of the system can't be good. So I got the numbers in there... but it looks like there's no way to put names with those numbers? It only displays the stored phone numbers? Guess I have to live with that. Thanks.
  4. Apple does not have video playback enabled to an external device, with the iPhone. You can only do this from an iPod... and then you must have "video out" selected in the setup menu. My understanding is that the current iPhone version won't play video to an external device. Okay, back to the car. I will try the direct method (as you mentioned)... I did this before and could make calls... but I can't figure out how to store them. The Pioneer BTB-200 Owner's Manual is very piss poor.
  5. Thanks for the replies. Now, can anyone tell me how to setup just a couple phone numbers in the D3's Address Book? I know the iPhone won't transfer number over via bluetooth... but there has to be a way to manual enter a few. I have mine installed now, but I can't figure out how to store a few numbers!
  6. If you can't transfer from your phone... can you manually enter any numbers or names on the D3's address book? I just want to set up my fav six... but I can't figure it out on the D3. Thanks.
  7. Can anyone confirm if you can receive calls on an iPhone (via D3 Bluetooth) when it's connected to the D3's iPod connector? I read on a 2 month old post - that it might have a problem getting calls when using the iPod function of the iPhone - connected to the D3... that the Bluetooth doesn't work. In other words, you can do one or the other... but no phone calls when the iPhone is docket to the D3. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.
