  1. I think the solder fell off, so im gonna go to raioshack and get this. http://www.radioshack.com/sm-circuitwri ... 04395.html
  2. I figured it out. I didnt realize I had to go to the A-Menu, and then turn on the AUX function in the Setting menu. I thought If I just hit the SRC button I should be able to listen to my MP3 playeer
  3. Its a N2. and I cant turn it on. It wont highlight as an option to turn on and off. Shouldnt it just recognize its plugged in?
  4. I got an AUX plug that plugs into the brain using the IP-BUS Cable so you can attach any Audio Player to unit. I plugged it in the brain, and tried to get my MP3 player to play the music, but the radio couldnt recognize there being another source available. Am I doing something wrong?
  5. On the 07 Altima, the VSS behind the dash is a violet/white wire. Pin 31 behind the gauge cluster
  6. I looked on Pioneer's site for the AUX plug for the N2, and i didnt see it listed. I went to best buy, and the one they had there for pioneer had a different plug. My unit has a white rectangular port on the back for the harness, and their's looked like it was suppose to go into a square like blue opening.
  7. i did the solder today. took me about 10 minutes to take out deck, solder, and reinstall. Hack complete. Hopefully it doesnt fall off or anything like that.
  8. If you have the SL, it should be behind the radio. Now I gotta take my dash apart to find it behind the instrument cluster
  9. When I got this unit, it came with 2 50m disc, and 2 burned discs that have no labels. If I put the original 50 in there, it says I need to put in the appropriate disc. Is there a way I can figure out which ones I have that are burned? BTW, the burned ones are the only ones that the unit recognizes so Im guessing they are at least the 60s. I want the most updated version loaded. and I have the N2
  10. so besides me writing the wrong sticker, is that all I have to do?
  11. I just got a Used Avic-N2 and everything works, but of course, it needs the Hack so I can get full function of the unit while in motion. Now, i have searched all over this forum, so I just need clearity. On the back of the main unit, I need to peel back the warranty sticker, and drip of drop of solder on the 2 points (guessing only points visible once sticker is peeled back) and then ground the brake wire and everything should work? If there is more to it, please let me know.
