Does anyone think it would be possible to make a hack or mod to allow the station ID to be saved in the preset label for the GEX-P20HD or P10HD?

Since it seems to be a software issue with the F-Series, does anyone think it would be possible to construct some sort of hack/mod to fix the preset label issue that pioneer decided to ignore?

Anyone know if its possible to use the older ipods (4G) with the F90 or know of a mod that makes it work??

Ok, Set it up on my D3.... Everything works great EXCEPT when I try to calculate a route it says someting like "Unable to calculate route." This happens no matter what location I use... Any ideas??? The logos look great!!!

As far as the icon names go: If the channel's icon did not change but the channel changed numbers then i saved the existing icon. The icon file was simply renamed to the appropriate number. So what im saying is the channel numbers will match the icon file numbers. Hope this helps...

OK here it is.... All of the new XM Logos. I did some updating and remove stations that are no longer there. These are only the large logos. The small ones that appear when you hit the "List" button on your D3 would be too time consuming to recreate. Unless someone knows how to convert the larger ones.... Hopefully the ones I sent WwRGSwW will work and he can complete the IMAGETBL.DAT to go with it giving us a completely updated Nav DVD. If not, Im hoping someone can use these and incorporate them into the Nav DVD along with an updated IMAGETBL.DAT file. Thanks to WwRGSwW for testing them out

For everyone with a D3: I have almost finished recreating the new XM logos.... There is a post on "Custom XM Logos" discussing the process. Another member is creating the imagetbl.dat file. I have about 50 more logos to recreate then send to the other guy. He should be able to incorporate them into the 2008 Nav DVD and then some other guy said he would host them on his ftp server for us to download.

ok now that my finger is sore/worn down from all the editing, i'll post what i have done.... im gonna get some sleep and try to get more done tomorrow... heres what i have.... use the PimMgr program to view.... ive reposted it... newPIMs2-114.zip PimMgr.zip

^ per WwRGSwW's instructions: the white background needs to be converted to the D3's default grey color. I almost have 2-100 done in this manner..... We will see what happens with my completed icons in the morning. WwRGSwW burned them to his NavDVD and will test them tomorrow.... (Cross your fingers!!!)

I am working on all of the new PIM icons right now. I have sent a bunch to WwRGSwW. I have completed channels 2-48 as well as the channels that just switched numbers. WwRGSwW is going to let me know if the PIMs work. I will continue the editing process tonight. It will take me quite some time to finish the rest but hopefully we will have a working 2008 NAV disk with all the new XM logos in the end.

ok well here are stations 2 through 9. let me know what happens... i have several others done as well bu i figured i would give you these to test... I am working on all of the channels although it will take quite a while. Good luck! Also, let me know when you finish that IMAGETBL.DAT file. newxm.zip

ok... one last thing.... ive made several of the new logos... any ideas for converting BMP to PIM on windows??? Also, if i get this working i will post the logos i have recreated. hopefully this works...

ok sounds good. thanks. question.... so if I download all the images from XM and convert them as you described under "Option 2", can I just replace the existing images on the .iso and burn a new copy? Or does this require some sort of editing within the IMAGETBL.DAT file as well?? I see that you wrote "requires option 1" under option 2. What I would like to do is just have all of the new logos appear on my D3. I'm not familiar with editing the IMAGETBL.DAT file.... Any advice?
