I have had my F700BT for over 3 years and I used a regular usb cable to sync up the Ipod and RCA cables to send the sound to the unit. My friend has a Pioneer system that he can plug his IPod or Iphone directly to the usb port on the unit and it will play without needing additional cables to distribute the sound. I am wondering if there is a mod to allow only the Ipod cable to sync and distribute the sound?

Everytime I use my unit as a hand free device any one I am talking to sound so loud, I tried adjusting the volume and the settings and its still loud. I actually had to remove the unit and put my factory radio back in and go the dealership for warranty fix because my speakers blew and I have premium speakers with a factor amp under my seat....what would you guys suggest

I notice alot of people here were having problems with their Iphone or Ipod woring half the time or not working at all. I have done some testing here is what you should know. The Iphone 3g, 3gs and some Ipod is requring more battery power to operate correctly. If you are using the offical pioneer cables that has the audio,video, and usb in one cable you should be affected. For all you guys that are pulling your hair for it to work you need to seperate the audio/video from the usb cable...Just get a regular usb cable for your ipod or Iphone and connect it, your pioneer device will respond to it

I was trying to boot to test mode, I see the window box popping up with a loading status bar, Windows ce loads up and then everything turns blank only the fan is on. If this happen to you what did you guys do. I saw another thread but the only fix to that is re freshin the my flash drive (which I cant get to)

I wouldnt know. my firend ask me if I wanted it and I said HELL YEAH!, I am just looking for a quick restore to its original state

Hey guys, to sum this up a friend gave me their avic 700 because he felt it wasnt working. I took it home and I get this "System Start up in progress please wait" whats weird it goes through the whole boot up and I am on the main screen and that message it still there. I updated the firm ware ASSUMING that will fix it, wrong!. anyways DL the service manual and it does not go into details into how to fix it. I tell you I had d2 and a d3 and I swear it feels like the screen is getting smaller and the system is not as good. But back to subject I have been on this forum looking for solutions but
