Okay, finally fixed it! Reset the thing which worked well, then I noticed that I had one of my toggle switches off (that makes it think the park. brake is on, etc...etc...) Let's just say I'm an idiot! That's all it was!~

I wish I knew how to do that. I had it installed and can't even get behind my dash. I guess I'll have to try the reset first. It's just strange though that it just stopped working. (I've had it since new and it's been 3 years!)

Do you think that will solve the problem I'm having? What would you do?

what does it do to the unit? Will I have to put in the clock time etc? does it reset my save preferences or anything? Thanks in advance

I can't get my unit to work correctly. (ie it thinks I'm moving now and won't let me type in an address) Any idea how to fix that? Any reset in the front of the unit? Thanks!

I just noticed that the small bluc xm traffic button on the map (when I am stopped) doesn't turn blue and it won't load the list of events anymore. It only shows all the correct icons on the map. So, traffic is still working, but it won't list the items anymore. Any ideas? Reset? I've tried turning the car on/off several times. Thanks!

I've been noticing lately that the level of brightness has diminished. Any way to turn this up? (daytime mode) I've never replaced the cable thing either, could that be it? Thanks!

I have both the Magellan 3050t and the AvicN2, both with traffic. They are a little different, but both work very similarly with traffic. Love them both in CA. Work very well....not perfectly, but well. The N2 does the similar thing. Asks about whether or not you would like to change the route based on an accident, etc....and shows you the new route and possible addition of time and distance that would ensue.

I should have clarified that this info only displays when their is traffic congestion. It is the icons that come up on the left hand side of the screen indicating that a new route is possible. You are then able to click the new route and see it, or just click okay to continue using the old route. The thing that I can't figure out it the extra mins and time that it shows. Is that for the new route? Or if you continue using the old route and end up in traffic? Pioneer didn't know the answer!

I have the AVIC-N2 and recently bought navtraffic. Yesterday had the system telling me about new routes...i.e. new route +1.3 miles, 1.4 mins, etc etc. Does this mean that this NEW route will add this amount of time and mileage to my current route, or this is the current route's added time due to the traffic, if I choose to use it??? Anyone else know this? Thanks!
