I have been a faithful android user for years but since my company pays for my cell phone I have to go with what they provide. For the past year I have been using my rooted Samsung Galaxy s3 with the ARunchained app and it has given me flawless touch controls on my 8500 but my company has decided to go to iphone 5s. It is my understanding there is an app called ARextensions that allows full control of the iphone same as my galaxy but it is not yet compatible with ios7. My question is can I still mirror the new iphone 5s on my 8500 screen even though I will have to control it from the phone it

I just installed my pioneer avh-x8500bhs and I have no video out to my headrest monitors. I followed the instructions and turned the AV in feature on, funny thing is though you would think it should be video out that needs to be turned but the manual says AV in. I know on my Kenwood unit I took out that I had to select what source to display out to the headrest monitors, such as dvd, ipod or even nav. Does this unit have the same setting? I'm reading thru the manual but can't find anything.

Hello guys. Its time to finally upgrade my old outdated Pioneer AVIC-N1. She's been a good unit but the times have passed her by. I'm considering the SPH-DA210 or even the AVH8500BHS, but I'm confused by all the different cables and add on parts I need to work with my Samsung Galaxy S3. I would like to have mirror link and I believe its not availbale on the 8500, only the DA210. Problem with the DA210 is my vehicle dash depth wont accomodate the 210 without some cutting. Not a big issue. What I want is a unit that I can watch Netflix on and also be able play my Directv and Geniego apps on. Cor
