but they are genuine discs. Would pioneer really be so crap that they would stop you from using your D3 in other countries?

Is it possible to mod the AVIC-D3 to remove the region coding?

Will they work? I read on here (well i think i did) they they should work. However, when my D3 turned up from the states and i tried the genuine europe dvd it keeps saying "Please Insert Appropriate Disc". I then have to turn it off and on again to get the disc out. Will it work if I make a backup of the disc? Perhaps region coding of some sort?
