I wonder has anyone discovered the fix to ensure the phone works the way it should

The phone works in every other way except when I try to download the phone book. Do not understand why this is.

I have a Sprint LG phone that seems to just disconnect itself for no reason. I am in the car right next to the unit. I noticed when I tried to get the AVIC Z2 to read the phone book in the phone so it would transfer the information to the unit. Has anyone else experienced this?
