Had my OEM Z1 Drive upgraded to Z3 by Garret: Pristine Service! Very responsive, lightning fast turnaround.

My AVIC Z1 with wire bypass updated to Z2 via software is still in the 3D Hybrid mode. I have close to 5800 miles on it, bars are showing that it is almost done... but it has been like that forever. VSS is connected and counting pulses. Why would it take so long?

I have a 1st generation Z1 that was upgraded to 2nd generation via the BT update CD. I did the 2 wire bypass and the unit works great. I'm looking at updating the maps using the CNDV-700HD; Does it also make my Z1 a Z2? Is my bypass going to be disabled if I do that? I have XM Navtraffic, BT and iPod modules installed, are they still going to work? Thanks
