Do the new 3rd Gen Ipod Nanos work with the D3?

Whatever the latest Nano is called. I assumed it was 3g since there's only been 3 different nanos. I don't really care about the video since I'll be only using the music features. -
I was looking to get an Avic-D3 but I want to be able to hook up my 3rd gen Nano to it. Can anyone confirm whether or not they work?
