Kevin, thanks again! I got everything loaded and think I figured out the Alpha channel bit. It looks so much better than Pioneer's go at it and I am really digging it! I panicked for a moment because I had to alter the ui file to do it how I wanted it but forgot to save it so first load the 'System Starting Up' message would never go away! Keep up the great work...

Simple code to make the compass work Code: ;compass Just change the bmp to what ever name and mask and change the x and y. What ever compass you use is must be "N - ne - E - se - S - sw - W - nw" order for our Navi to display it properly. I found this in another post.

I saw where you mentioned making an invisble button but remember, PSE won't let me create an Alpha layer. If I am being honest, although I am a total tech geek, these scripts will take a little getting used to before I am comfortable adding things myself. Still learning...

So to just get rid of the Stop Nav button all together I could just delete this string: ;Stop Nav Button and then save it? I use my iPod 90% of the time.

Question? If you have the iPod playing and you are navigating, does the icon for the iPod conflict on screen with the Stop Nav icon?

Anything special you did to give your truck icon that cartoon yet realistic look it has? I am going to start on my GTI tonight and am shooting for it to look as good as yours (although I am not holding my breath on it LOL)

I will take it with the truck in there if you do not mind. Since it is already set up to display it correctly, I will add an image of my car instead and to me it makes it a lot simpler to incorporate.

Yes, they have to be reloaded although it did keep my preferences for which POI icons I would like to show on the map.

Yeah, I think that releasing the F Series with the number of problems/bugs it has they will have to fix it first and fix it well. What Pioneer did in sending these units out too soon is they killed their reputation for quality products. For them to release a better upgraded version of the D3 when the F Series replaced the D3 would be an absolute slap in the face to all of us who bought the F Series unit and I think would destroy any credibility they have amongst the AV fan base. It is like Nintendo releasing the Wii but with MAJOR functionality problems and instead of fixing it, they decide to

Use the search function and you will find this has been a very hot topic. The answer is that no one really knows but there is speculation from many.
