  1. Hi - hoping someone can help. I've just installed avic-8000nex into 67 Camaro. Audio works fine, but hen loading navigation - the "decline" and "accept" buttons appear on EULA screen, but it won't highlight or engage when I press "accept". I can hear the sounds, but no buttons functional. Any help appreciated. Brian

    make sure its properly grounded

  2. Does it have remote I will look for pic of what I saw also can I add a hard drive or sd and han I dual zone any video file from hd or sd so basically will anything be played in the back that connect to system thanks

The 8000 doesn't come with a remote nor does it have a IR sensor for it. The only remote you'll be using for it is the steering controls. And yes you can dual zone, DVD, iPod video, ad card, USB except hdmi. Different plugs. As long as you have av cables (r/w/y) you'll be fine. Blur rays files are amazing on the 8000. Awesome.

  3. Did you wind up receiving yours? I just tracked mine because I hadn't received any updates and the last scan shows it was in Jacksonville, FL 2 days ago is now "Delayed due to severe weather" with no expected delivery date. UPS can't tell me where the package is or when I can expect it. Gotta love it.

I could imagine the anticipation. I checked every hour. until it arrived. I said to myself that I would install it on the weekend. I couldnt. I work nights and sleep through the morning. But once I heard that doorbell. I was like kid in candy store. I stayed up and installed it. LOL

  4. Dual zone is for the REAR entertainment. You can listen to the radio and if the kids want to see something instead of listening to the radio. You can select a source to stream in the back and they can listen via headsets. HDMI is funky. It will mirror to the back of the screen. But all other sources will.

YES there is AUTO EQ. You need a microphone to set it up.

  5. The radio is awesome. Havent used it in about 2 weeks. My car got hit and im still waiting for the insurance to send an adjuster. Its under investigation because it was a hit and run. I pulled out the radio. Since I got the radio I got the itch to buy a subwoofer box and amp. Just installed the mono amp today. gonna test out the sub tomorrow

  6. The 5000nex doesn't have a hdmi port. So you will need to use the RGB connection in the back along with USB1 to get the app radio to work. The pioneer cable connects to usb1 and rgb (yellow) plug which then converts to a VGA port. Then you plug in your adapter to the VGA port.

  7. Agree. The camera view setting, i think, is for when you are hauling a trailer.

You can use the secondary camera feature to adds a second camera for your trailer. At least you'll have the option to click on the av source
