My n1 screen just suddenly stopped opening. It still makes the noise when you push the open button, but the screen doesnt budge. I tried resetting it and the problem still remains. Flex ribbon cable problem or what??

Every time i try grounding the parking brake wire to bypass my n1, the parking lights fuse blows. Is there something that i have connected wrong?

I disconnected the bypass and the lights still dont work..ill go ahead and use something else to check the fuses again. Anymore ideas anyone on what it would be??

I just did the avic n1 bypass on my 350z and for some odd reason my parking lights wont turn on anymore. I went and checked all the wiring/connections as well as all my fuses and everything was fine. I need help asap because now i cant drive at night! Anyone know what the problem could be????

I bought a used avic n1 for my 350z which already came off a 350z so the wire harness and everything was straight plug and play. For some reason when i turn on my parking/headlights, the navi/video is not functional while driving. Obviously it isnt wired up correctly because, arent the navi/video functions supposed to be disabled while driving when your ebrake is down? How do i re-wire this to solve the problem?

i want my money back, but i also put that navi and dvd player in good use

Heres the story, i bought a used n1 from some guy for 300 and was told it was in perfect working order. Anyways, i have some problems with it and have a choice of either getting my money back or just fixing the headunit. On with the problems.... For some reason my touch screen and buttons on the faceplate dont always work. They work most of the time, but sometimes dont. Also, sometimes the volume knob has to be pushed, and held in in order to adjust the volume. I think the problem is a bad connection from the faceplate to the headunit because when nothing responds, i push the faceplate in

I just bought a used N1 off someone and 1. for some reason the buttons and the touchscreen dont always work. They only work sometimes. 2. Do i need to splice into my vss? I didnt splice into it because i dont even know what wire it is. TIA
