Installed the Z2 in a 2007 Dodge SRT8 Charger, all three PAC modules as well, and the car KEPT RUNNING even when I held the keys OUTSIDE of the car. Found out from PAC that's a common mistake, now that's fixed here's the OTHER issues: EVFERYTIME I get in the car and crank up the unit to about 19 or 20, I get a different sound, I havent adjusted anything between rides, it always sounds different though. I did, the UNIT is fine, opened fine, plays fine, sounds fine ... after I drove the car for a bit, THEN tried opening the door is when this happened, the door remains half open unless I lift the unit up, which has about 1/16th" of play - shouldnt the unit be firmly secure w/o ANY movement?? The Scosche kit is the issue, cheap plastic snap in parts, that's why I'm looking for a metal cage of some sort, probably have to make it myself since nobody else seems to have a suggestion

Got my SRT8 back from the install shop - HORRIBLE kit!! When the front screen is opening, it catches on the trim bezel and stays at half open (or half closed for the optomists here) ... I looked to see what it was catching on and found it, then GENTLY lifted up on the bottom of the unit and VIOLA! it opened. I have the SCOSHCE install kit for a 2007 Dodge Charger, and upon looking at it, it's a POS made of plastic and the unit is hardly secured!!!! I pushed on it to test its strength only to have pushed the unit back in the dash. Took it out, worked on the screws, etc...still it doesnt hol

I've made 5 copies ... using Nero Burning ROM SE ... burn the image etc... I'll change the speeds and see if that helps, but the main thing is that it doesnt give me the option to select "YES" when I get to the screen that mentions rebooting I'm reading and reading and wondering if I need to do that bluetooth CD before I do all this. I still can't figure out what all I need to do to accomplish those few tasks either

Z2 question....NO Z1 references please!!!! Just shelled out a cool 1500 PLUS install for what seems to be a sub par head unit. Why does it need all the dern mods/hacks??? OK, with that being said, I followed the STEP BY STEP instructions for the 2 wire bypass, tried Step 2 - NOTHING, here's what happened... inserted the disc - CHECK, recognized CD-ROM inserted ... pressed the MAP key, waited ... it then gave me the "want to update" option, selected yes again ... waited....waited...waited...then it gave me the "select YES to update after reboot......" and did NOT give me the option to act
