  2. The hardrive went bad on my Z140BH. I really don't want to send it to Pioneer because of the hefty price tag (I'm a month out of warranty). Is there any way that I can image the software on an aftermarket hard drive? Anybody know where I can get the software and the type of hard drive I need to buy? I turned my old Z2 into a Z3 years back, but I haven't seen any directions on how to image the software on the newer units. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
  3. I completed all of the steps and my old Z2 is now a Z3... I completed it last night and haven't had any problems thus far, so I'm hoping everything is graavyy... Thanks for the great post!!!

I am having a major problem with my AVIC Z2 unit… I’m not sure if anyone here can help me but I guess a shot in the dark is better than no shot at all… I’ve had three Z2’s in my trucks lifetime… The first one I had worked perfectly but it was stolen… The second one I had was a refurbished unit… I took it to my local stereo shop to have it installed and everything was fine at first glance. After a few days I noticed that the C/D eject door will not open all the way… Everything else on that unit worked… My installer installed the two wire bypass and it worked… He s
