when i bought my cable for my D3 the guy told me that it'll only charge your unit if its a 1gen iphones and itouch. if i was to have a 2 or 3 gens then there was an adapter that i needed to charge my iphone. from what the guy said they sell out fast but i forgot the name of the adapter.if you want me to find out i can swing by the store and check it out.

yes you well have full access control if u get that cable but an fyi it wont charge your iphone.

ok i just recently picked up a D3 unit and im have issues? 1. the unit keeps resetting when i push the map button pops message please wait 30sec while unit is updating and i get dvd having problems? 2. doesnt pinpoint where im at when i type in my location? 3. it just lags hard when im on GPS mode? things ive done was hold the reset button for couple secs and still get issues? im also using a 80MT disc burnt copy which i have no issues with my D1. all my other functions work fine but when i go into map mode it just lags and sometime reboots by itself? i hope i didnt buy a F'd up un

to PhocuZ from what i know it wont charge the newer gen itouch or iphone anything 3G and up it wont charge but u can buy an adapter for it to charge.

lately when i want to adjust the bass or treble up i cant and when i type and push the buttons it selects the bottom button instead?? is my unit getting mess'd up??? i hardly use it only when i go on long trips which is hardly..oh and sometimes when i try to change disc it wont open?? even after i hard reset it, it still wont open?? thanks

ya i was reading that the orginal disc is suppose to be dual layer'd and mines is only 4.7gb so i found a DL to solve the problem... thnxs

was up guys i recently installed my D1 and im having problems at times when i look up in the for gas station, fast food or stores... everytime i search for one it kicks me back to the map?? could this be from my disc cause its a burn'd copy?? if i do another search like schools,banks and transportation its fine? any advise thnxs ps.. my gps antenna is near my radar would that cause it to do that??
