  1. Since no one offered any good reason to buy the idatalink maestro, I decided to use what I had. For what its worth, if I not had the axxess harnesses, I probably would have bought the idatalink. After a few hours (I work slow), I got the new 8000 NEX up and running. Here is what I learned... 1) The 16 pin harness plug on the 8000 NEX is different from the x5500bhs. 3. Hi everyone, I currently have the avh-x5500bhs in my 2011 GMC Sierra. I have the Axxess steering wheel control and the Axxxess GMOS-LAN-01. Also, I am using the sirius svx200 on the avh-x5500bhs. I have the 8000 NEX arriving this week. I was just going to unplug the avh-x5500bhs and install the new 8000 NEX. My question is, should I go get the idatalink maestro or just use what I got. Any advantage to the idatalink maestro on a 2011 GMC I need to consider? I appreciate all input on this, thanks!!
