Thanks for the replies! Happy to hear I'm not the only one, but not sure if I want to spend the extra money on the 8000! Would not recommend for anyone that leaves their car outside. Only have a 15 minute drive to work and half of the drive I have to listen to what was already playing!

It has been both unresponsive and sluggish at times. My garage is not heated, and I live in Alberta, and therefore have noticed this quite often. I had an avic-z2 that never had this issue. Thanks for the responses. Wonder if this doesn't happen with the 8000?

The 8000 is the capacitive screen, I wonder if it's just the other screens.

It's just the screen, whatever you had playing when the car was shut off will be playing. When I try to press another station, it either doesn't work or holds the new buttons and transfers the station to the other button.

Interesting, sounds like this may be a common issue then. Didn't expect this to be normal!

Recently purchased a nex-6000 and have issues with cold weather. When it reaches -5 degrees Celsius and lower (approx.) the screen is unresponsive or very delayed until the car warms up. Anyone else experience this? Thanks
