it's nearly freakin impossible to get behind the steering colum with a screwdriver and same with the glove compartment.. bahh effin lame!! any other suggestions??

its a 2001 mazda protege i pull it out that far and it doesn't come out any farther

Yo! I want to take my D3 out so I can bypass the e-brake but i can't figure out how to take the unit out.. i figure i can handel it once it all out.. any help?? here are some pics
