The 810 has USB ports. A simple USB camera would probably work pretty well for a back up camera. The 810 could play MP3s through the FM transmitter. And the 810 has GPS and CHANGEABLE Nav software built in. And it has WIFI and a keyboard.

Please share how this works out for you, including the details of the hack, because I am interested as well.

I'm thinking of putting a D3 in my truck. I want to start listening to the music on my MP3 player (Xen, not iPod) and I need a navigation system and back up camera pretty bad. I like the D3, except... 1) I don't want to buy an iPod (and accessory interface) to play my MP3 files 2) I don't want to buy the USB accessory interface to use my Xen because several people have mentioned its terrible. 3) I don't want to be buying updated map software all the time. Any chance that a D4 model would fix some of these complaints ? How long has the D3 been out ? I am strongly
