I've installed 1.07 on my EU unit and haven't noticed any improvements at all. In fact I had my first "issue" after installing it: the phone went into CarPlay mode and the head unit would say it was attempting to connect to CarPlay but eventually it would give up. Only way I could fix it was to disable carplay under smartphone settings and then re-enable. Spotify is still just as broken for me on this release.

I get the same with CamerAlert (UK speed cameras). IOS seems to grab the audio channel whenever it needs to sound an alert and never gives it back. It's not clear to me whether it's a Pioneer bug, an IOS bug or a bug in the app itself. Suspect we'll need to wait for CarPlay aware versions of these apps to fix this.

So we've got CarPlay at last, and I have to say that so far I'm pretty impressed. I really like it in fact, despite one or two rough edges. Siri being a bit random is top of my list of gripes, and Spotify need to sort their app out as well. So I'm now starting to get agitated about all the apps I want working with CarPlay. My top 3 being: TomTom. I *really* want a decent offline Nav package for CarPlay. DarkSky. Well I drive a convertible. DashCommand. This is the one app I really miss from AppRadio. What other apps are people waiting for?
