I just want to echo what everyone else has said. Garret is a pleasure to deal with, has extremely fast service, and contacts you every step of the way. Getting a drive from him is a no-brainer. I just want to add if you try and power-up the unit without replacing the black plastic drive cover it will not power-up. There must be a connection needed from the metal plate on the plastic cover.

I had he installer add 3 rca jacks connected tothe aux input and can run anything thru that. I have a creative zen and the movies and music play fine.

My installer added an Alpine tv tuner to my z2 and it works fine but it does require a 2nd remote

Do you know what they did wrong and how to fix it?

I just had the z2 installed and the install looks factory. I had given the installer the info on grounding the 2 wires and the cd. When the z2 starts it tells me the brake is bypassed but as soon as i move i lose the picture but as soon as i stop the picture comes back. It appears to be directly related to the gps. The unit was manufactured in 8/07. I need to bring the car back to the installer on Monday and hoprfully this can be fixed then. Thanks Rudmeister
