  1. This is / was and am have, made me really p[issed off, I called the first morning after spending a workshift trying to listen to an audio book, with no audio resume... They say "we have our engineers " on it, I really really hope they work this out.... my 4000 doesn't have the audio resume issue, just the 1500 dollar nex, and I too asked for my money back, they pretty much broke USB storage...
  2. Yes, on my 4000 audio resume works with the new firmware, it is in my other car that has the 8000 that the audio resume doesnt work and it is really annoying... Funny how the more expensive one has more problems than the cheaper one... totally sux when listening to audio books....
  3. Does Audio resume work for you? If you are listening to a folder on the SD or USB, and turn the car off and on, will it go back to where you left off?
  4. I noticed on the AVIC-4000 that the Audio resume does work, just not on the 8000 I also am having problems with the keynoard in the NAV system, I touch the letter and it turns black, but doesn't show up, and I have to backspace and hold touch the keys.... It was fine before, and relatively fast when typing... Again, I have a driver job and use the NAV 10 times a night...
  5. The guy at Pioneer was a complete prick, but I did report that the audio/video resume on USB is broken and does not work. This is very annoying, and makes a large thumbdrive almost usless... Please post any other bugs here, so we can at least point these things out to Pioneer... I also learned that you can not revert back to 1.05 firmware.... Detailed explanation: When inserting a thumbrive on 1.05, it will read format, and then you can navigate to a folder, say a long audiobook, and start playing... Say you get to chapter 3, you turn off the car, and when you turn the car back
  6. I am listening to content on my thumbrives, and that is why I bought them... I have an 8000, and a 4000, and I don't like to keep my phone in the glove box. I need my phone for work, so using it for a music source is out, because I am using it for emails and texts constantly. I do short courier type deliveries, and invested quite a bit in these units, and really have come to rely on there functions.. Playing from USB source without this is useless....I have a 128 GIG thumbrive and you can imagine the elabore file structure, and everytime I start the car, it plays the same Marvin Ga
  7. I am having a terribly annoying issue since the update.. The Audio resume doesnt work at all!! I have the USB1 on the iphone, and carplay and all the other stuff mentioned works fine. Maps and all.. I have a Thumbdrive on USB2 with music and audiobooks, in separate folders...Before when I am listening to a multi-chaptered book, it would start where I left off when powering off and on, aside from when you unplug it or add remove content.. Now it seems that it re reads the drive everystart up, and starts at a random place on the drive. I have to navigate to the folder and remember w
