  1. About every two weeks my custom background will vanish. The picture will be fine. I cut the vehicle off for two to three hours and when I start back up the picture is gone and I have a black background, everything else is fine. I can load the picture back with no problem by inserting the picture disk and going through the menu. Any ideas?
  2. Hooked it up in about 20 min. Works great. Blue/White wire was right on.
  3. Thanks for the help. I knew you guys would know.
  4. Anyone know the color of the illumination wire in the Ford harness. The adapter harness form crutchfield has the orange/white wire from the harness but the Ford harness has no matching wire in that slot. I tried to find 12v with the lights on only, but can't find it. Crutchfield recommended running a wire from the headlight but that does't sound good.

No one seemed to have a answer. I emailed Pioneer and they never replied. Called Pioneer and they never hear of Lat-Long displayed on map. After about 30 min of punching buttons and checking everything the had me reset the system. Lat- Long is now gone from the display. I did it somehow going through all the menu's on the unit when I first got it. It's a function that the system has, but, no one knows about it. Go figure. Thanks to all that checked out the post to try to help.

  9. I have a d3 installed in a 07 ford sport trac. The stock radio remained on after you turned off the key and shut off when you opened the door. I lost the function when I installed the d3. Can't think or any reason why the function would have been lot. Anyone got any ideas.
  10. Thanks for the reply. Yes it is a Ford. That's what I thought was the problem so I tried a Voltage Regulator and got a pop with static. I will try the resistor. Thanks
  11. Just did a install on a D3. Everything works find except I have a pop in the sub evertime I turn on the unit.
