  1. Not sure about your cooling issue, but the other I can help you with. If you go to any source of audio (hit that A/V button) then go to settings. After you are under that menu there is a tab for "audio" and a tab fot "system". Click the "system" tab and its under that menu, I think it's on page two. You can have it totally mute Nav and Radio, or lower it 10db or 20db. Good luck glad to hear you enjoy it!
  2. Thats what I thought, but we couldn't find it. Then they said that was only there if you had the optional Rockford Frostgate system that has the speed sensitive volume. I of course bought a basic stereo because I knew I was putting this Z1 in. Thanks for the idea though!
  3. I have the Z1 installed and it works great. Ducatiboy's circuit, bluetooth, backup camera with infared lights, Ipod, XM, its great! Only thing is we could not find the VSS wire. I have a Nissan Frontier 2006. Any ideas? They say I need a Cam Bus Adapter? $200 plus. Would sure LOVE to find an alternate solution if any of you have any information! Thanks., Nathan
  4. Hey guys, this is my first post on here! So I love the new Z1. It's a little harder to get the right sound from all of the speakers than it was with the Alpine, but I am slowly getting it. I have subs, and two amps. Not quite as good of an equalizer... Nevertheless my question is with the navigation. Here in New York there is a road Sunrise Highway. The Z1 thinks it's a secondary road. But the speed limit on this road is 55 MPH. The problem is when I am doing 70mph or so and in the left lane, then the navigation (when I am on a radio screen) will not give me a heads up that
