It has the factory Bose system and I'm using the Metra GMOS-04 adapter. There are only 4 rca's coming off the harness...no normal speaker wires to wire to the hu... Sorry for being vague

Thanks - I think it fixed the mute issue. Next question - my rear speakers aren't working... I've got all 4 rca's plugged in - do i need to wire around the rears? Thanks for the quick help -Ross

I just installed an AVH-4000 in my 2003 silverado last night. I used the Metra gmos-4 harness to retain my chimes and Bose amplifier but I don't have onstar. I used the 5 pin relay trick to bypass the parking brake for video and that all worked fine also. It was working fine this am while driving to work when I touched the screen and the mute symbol came up and cut all sound. Now I can't get the system to get off mute. I've turned the car on/off and even reset it. The only thing I can think of is that I did hook up the mute wire from the metra harness even though it said that w
