First off, my gps. It never works properly when I need it the most! I set the gps, and it looks like its working great and the arrow is in the right spot. Then I turn off the car or somthing, and when I turn it back on the arrow is nowhere close to where it should be. Sometimes it eventually fixes itself when i'm driving, and somtimes it never gets around to fixing itself. I installed it myself so maybe I did something wrong with the settings on the system or somthing. Any ideas? Next up, Video playback on my n3. Does the n3 suport like mpegs or anything good like this? Is there an

When i first installed the avic n3 the nav seemed like it was working great. So I unplugged everything and then mounted my hideaway unit then repluged everything in. Sence then the nav hasnt been working right. Everytime i start the car and go to nav screen it shows me somewhere that im not. So I have to go and set my current destination (which is at my house in drivway) before i can drive. And manually setting my location by touching the screen doesnt put me on exactly. But its close. So the nav works, until i shut my car off and then come back and it shows me in a different spot aga

I was just curious if it was possible to make everything "hide" on the screen and only see the background. I can make everything but the top radio bar go away. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of that as well. It's not a big deal. I just like to stair at the crazy background as i'm driving though. : / Also does anyone know how to get visualizations on the screen? k thanks!

When I started up my avic with the map dvd in it showed that I was on Los Angeles. Im in Indiana. : / I was kinda worried maybe I had hooked the gps in wrong or somthing. Sense I did the install myself. But when searching in the settings tab I found "modify location" or somthing like that. I pushed it and it let me touch the screen until I came to my house on the map. I was just curious if this is how i'm supose to set where I live. Or have I done this wrong? I searched through the booklet that came with the avic but didn't see a way to fix this. Btw I havn't drove my car yet so

When I insert a Nav DVD into my avic n3 the system shuts off then comes immidietly back on. Is it suppose to shut off like that? Seems a little strange to do that.
