The voice guidance is 3 notches away from being at max volume.

Why can't i get the navigation to use its voice guidance? I've read the manual and played around with it and say if i start a route to "go home" it will show me instructions on the screen but will not say them to me. I even muted it and tried it. The only option i saw regarding "voice command" was in the volume section where it said to have voice command on while muted. Any ideas?

did you just put the pictures on a new disk? Cause i can't get the splash screen to even show up to get to the import menu. What steps are you using? I just got my d3 last week and there doesnt seem to be a cut and clear section on the d3 and backgrounds. Thanks Chris

If i dont have the original Avic D3 navigation disks, will the CNDV-70MT upgrade disks work just like the originals, or do i have to have the original disks to use navigation? If anyone has an east coast navi cd for sale for the D3 let me know. Is that a clear question? Lol Appreciate the help, Chris

Hi, Bought an avic d3 w/o the antenna. I was wondering if the Avic-d2 gps antenna will work with the D3? Appreciate help. I did search around with no luck so far. Chris
