  1. Whenever I've tried the VR to put in an address, I always get the prompt "VR engine starting up". So I just tried to put it in manually and then came across this issue, but thanks ill try that tomorrow.
  2. Well from the way Im doing it, I dont actually enter a state. I just type in house number, then street name and it gives me results. For instance: House Number: 1707 Street Name: Baker Street Then it will bring up a list of Baker Streets such as: Baltimore, MD Tallahassee, FL Baton Rouge, LA York, PA Wilmington, DE Reston, VA When I touch Baltimore, MD, which is where I live, it will prompt me; "ADDRESS NOT FOUND" and then kick me back to the Navi Menu screen. From what VBLUE was saying, it seems like I need to first enter the state then the address itself.
  3. Usually when Im entering an address, I enter a house number first, then a street name, and then it usually gives me a list of cities or towns that match the street and house number. This was how I used to do it on my D3, so based off of what you had said, im doing it wrong, is that right? Could you tell me how I should be entering it? Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it.
  4. So I had my Z110BT installed in my '06 Mustang after my D3 was stolen. Everything looks and works great except for 1 thing: Each time I put in an address in the Navi, I get the result "Address Not Found". It doesnt matter which address I put in, including my home, it can't find it. It will narrow the results down to a city, and then kick me out saying it cant find it. Every once in awhile it will say it cant find the street, but not always. Can anyone help me figure out why I cant find any addresses? By the way, I apologize if this question has been answered in a previou

Id just like to be as prepared as usual when I talk to them, and if any of you out there have advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Zach

    Stolen D-3

Hey everyone, So today I came out to my 2006 Ford Mustang to see my drivers side window smashed and my entire dash board and center console tore up. Once I looked inside my D3 had been ripped out and taken, as well as my Sirius radio, my laptop, school books/bookbag, iPod(which was connected to the D3 in the glove box) and a bunch of other assorted items. Anyway, the officer told me if i still had the box my D3 came in and any paperwork to try to get the serial number to call and report it to the police station. That way if they tried to pawn it or anything they might be able to track
  7. Can anyone make me a couple of backgrounds with Jessica Simpson in them, anything where she is scantily clad will be good, especially anything from the Dukes of Hazzard, especially the music video at the end of the DVD where she is washing the Charger!
  8. thanks guys, like I said i could have said it wrong, he could have actually done it correctly, but hopefully ony of you guys are right and it is the problems you guys said. Thanks again.
  9. Hey guys, I have an Avic D3 in my 06 Mustang, and Im having a little trouble with the bypass that allows me to watch DVD's while driving. First off the install and the bypass was done by a friend who has worked for Best Buy as a mobile installer for 3 years, and he's installed lots of D3's, and he has done the bypass on his own car, and at least two others. So what im trying to say is, more than likely its not user or installer error. Anyway we did the bypass by plugging the mute wire and parking brake lead into the the empty port, and grounding them. (I could be wrong on that, i think tha

  11. Hey guys, ive done a search and couldn't come up with any useful tips. Sorry for the newbie question. I saved the custom backgrounds onto a disk, inserted the disk into my D3 and went to system options on the NAVI menu, and everytime i go to the splash screen and choose import from disc, and everytime it tells me that i need to save the backgrounds under /PICTURE/ and i do have them saved in a picture folder that is named PICTURE, but i cant put either of the /'s in the name, it wont allow me. Does anyone know if im doing somethin wrong or is there any other way? Any help would be greatly a
