so everyday i leave my office in OC. i get on the toll road and my little red triangle starts going towards a certain direction, even though I am actually chaging direction while driving. This happens for about 5 minutes. By the time 5 minutes has passed, the triangle is about 4 miles to the right of my actual position (almost in the ocean, ha). Then all of a sudden in the SAME SPOT ON THE ROAD right before I get to the toll booth...it corrects itself and gets back on the road that I am traveling and displays it in the bottom left again..... wierd? anybody else have this happen to th

i second this question......i cant figure it out as well

mine works no prob.... get in, make sure ebrake is off, start truck (even with lights in auto position either during the day or night), as soon as you see the start up screen....flick the lights once to the parking light position and back to auto position and there you have it..... i have a 05 F150 Supercrew....

anybody have this happen to them from time to time. Ive had my Z1 for 1 month and there has been 3 distinct times where i have gotten in my truck and the "current street " on the bottom row of the screen doesnt populate a location until miniutes or even at all.....

F150 owner here..... I havent had a chance to look behind my unit...but thatnk for the info. Now i am not going to waste my time messing around in an area that I know nothing about. I guess I will just go to a good installer and explain my situation to him. Also, Ducati boy....did I read correctly that I CAN connect my parking brake wire normally so I can avoid the "unhooked" message at startup......and still get the bypass to work once I get my ILLUM wire connected??

sweet...i will try that tonight. Once i do that...my connection status should not say OFF next to "Illumination Wire" correct? It should say LOW or HIGH, right? also, how should I connect them....just crimp 'em?

thanks...i'll ask the installer. As soon as its connected...i'll try the flashing method. if i still for whatever reason cant get it to work...then i'll get your circuit

what color is that wire....how do i connect it? remember...massive newbie here. haha so i am assuming once i get that wire connected right, i can try the light switching again..? thanks so much for helping with my axiousness here guys....

ya...the sky doesnt change when i turn my lights on....

ok..so i tried covering the light sensor on my F150 and did both the single and triple light switch method. Still doesnt work.... help?

i'll try it. I'll repost... next thing you know, we'll have to clap twice, do a handstand and touch our nose upon "starting up Pioneer Navigation..."
