? I believe I saw some others posted they expanded it to 50 gigs aswell... So does that mean its 50 gigs on that partition but the avic only thinks there is 35? Or does it mean I am screwed and I have to re-do the partition......

I have successfully restored the Z2 image to a 80g Toshiba and expanded the MSV partition with around 50gigs. Now when I go check the hardware info, it shows only 26% left...why??

Can anyone help me unlock my drive? I paid the HDD unlock wizard but somehow they were not responsive for a longtime and ended up giving my money back.... So now I have no one to unlock my drive.... Anyone?

I too have the July 07 Manufactured unit but I have 4 empty connectors in the harness. So you must be missing something......

Without the VSS, the GPS alone should still be very accurate so like he said, where is the gps antenna located? If its inside the car, try putting it outside on top of your roof just for testing to see if everything is fine. Make sure to stick that magnet thing under it though.

I know that the updated disc is not needed to make the bypass work. However, according to the instructions of one of the thread on how to bypass the Z1, it says to take the mute wire if not needed and connect it to the lower right empty pin socket. My question is, is this still needed for the new Z2? What is that empty pin socket for?

I always thought the cooler the temp, the better eletronics works. For example a computer, it would always run faster with a better cooler.

Its really not that hard getting the wires out... Since your car is totalled, you can just tear things apart like your passenger side a-pillar.

No dice....I checked everything and nothing is loose. So I took off the tap and re-tapped it. And I drove around and I heard the beep sequence ONCE and it was gone and never came back. After asking around people with my car and this nav, they said the VSS signal has to be real strong or else it will reset. Basically he was saying the counter will keep going up when receiving strong signal but once it is lost, it will go back to zero. In order to use 3D hybrid, the counter will count to a certain point and then it will automatically switch to that mode. Could i have a faulty harness

Acura OEM Navi's and Bluetooth are one of the best in the market. Yes I know, my wife drives a TL. I am jealous.....So I tell her "you don't have 3D mode like I do"............LOL
